NOVA INDUSTRIAL S.A. experts evaluate the technical state of the instrument transformers in service based on the analyze of the history data (concerning construction, factory tests, tests for putting into service or for preventive maintenance, incidents in operation), in addition to tests and measurements specific to each type of instrument transformer.
Tests and measurements specific to CURRENT TRANSFORMERS:
- analyses of the compatibility between modern electronic protections and the existing transformers, in service in the high voltage installations (of 220 kV and 400 kV);
- prophylactic verifications according to the normative;
- analyses of the seismic behavior of the assembly: transformer – transformer’s support;
- chromatographic analyses of the gases dissolved in oil , for the current transformers with impregnated insulation in service;
- analyses of the measurement accuracy of the current transformers connected to meters that have to
- measure correctly current values between 1% and 120% of the rated current value;
