NOVA QA
A-class power quality monitoring equipment
The NOVA QA equipment is intended for class A measurement, respectively for monitoring the electrical parameters and phenomena that define in the current context the energy quality, according to the IEC 61000 standard in force.
The NOVA QA equipment allows:
- measuring and recording the effective value and the maximum value of the voltage on each phase;
- measuring and recording the effective value of the current on each phase;
- determination and registration of asymmetries / voltage and current imbalances for the three-phase system;
- measuring and recording the power factor;
- frequency measurement and recording;
- determination and registration of active, reactive, apparent and deforming power;
- determining and recording the harmonics and inter harmonics of voltage and current, of the harmonic distortion factor;
- measuring and recording short and long duration interruptions, respectively;
- measuring and recording voltage gaps;
- measurement and recording of temporary industrial frequency surges and transient phenomena;
- measuring and recording voltage fluctuations (fliker level);
- analyzes and reports according to users’ standards and / or requirements.
The use of NOVA QA equipment, independently or within an integrated electricity quality monitoring system – Smart Grids, ensures the necessary conditions for:
- improving information support for management, for real-time decision making;
- creating an overview of the energy saving potential for the user, in the short, medium and long term;
- reducing the probability of equipment failure, reducing the probability of production losses and interruptions in the power supply;
- reducing energy costs by automatically tracking consumption, including forecasts and avoiding penalties applied by the energy supplier;
- reducing energy costs by automatically tracking consumption, including forecasts and avoiding penalties applied by the energy supplier;
- global business optimization, by reducing energy costs;
- prevention of equipment failure and / or excessive heating, by controlling the harmonics and keeping them below a certain level, etc.
10 digital inputs: 1 x trigger contact; 1 x trigger contact; 1 x CSA contact; 1 x auxiliary contact A (optional);
The NOVA QA equipment can be easily parameterized according to the specific requirements of each user and can be easily developed / upgraded according to new technical requirements.
